Thank you for your interest in Coatue’s East Meets West event (“EMW”), a program sponsored by Coatue Management L.L.C. and its affiliates (collectively, “Coatue,” “we”, “our”). By accessing or using the Coatue EMW website or its corresponding mobile application, or providing information in connection with EMW or related activities (collectively “Activities”), you acknowledge and agree to these information collection practices (the “Privacy Notice” or “Notice”). If you do not agree to this Privacy Notice, then you should not participate in EMW, access the EMW website or app, or submit information to Coatue in connection with the Activities.
Coatue may collect and use information relating to your use of the website or application (collectively the “Site”) or the Activities, in accordance with this Privacy Notice. This Notice does not address our privacy practices with respect to information that we may collect from you as an investor in funds or accounts that we sponsor or manage or as persons with whom we otherwise conduct business.
Information We Collect
We collect information in multiple ways, including when you provide information directly to us and when we passively collect information from or about you, such as from your browser or device. We may combine all of the information we collect from or about you from these various sources.
Information You Provide to Us
We collect any information that you provide to us, including, but not limited to, when you (1) submit an application to participate in EMW or contact us in connection with the Activities; (2) when you sign-up to receive information about the Activities or benefits associated with the Activities, as well as other products or services; (3) when you participate in any aspect of the Activities; (4) when you provide feedback in an online survey; and (5) when you submit other content and suggestions. Information Collected from Third Parties
We may receive information about you from other sources. We may add this information to the information we have already collected from you through our Site or Activities in order to improve the Site or our Activities.
Information Collected from Social Networking Sites
You may share information with us via social networking sites, such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter (each an “SNS”). In some cases, you may be able to access the Activities using your SNS account information. By sharing your SNS profile, you are allowing us to access some of your SNS information depending on your SNS settings or as allowed by you (such as profile information and profile photo). We may receive that information from your SNS profile and that information may be imported to the Site or included in the Activities. You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for your use of SNSs and that it is your responsibility to review the terms of use and privacy policy of the third party provider of such SNSs. We will not be responsible or liable for: (i) the availability or accuracy of such SNSs; (ii) the content, products or services on or availability of such SNSs; or (iii) your use of any such SNSs. If you disconnect an SNS account that you have previously connected, the SNS public profile data and SNS-provided-email will be deleted from our active databases upon your request, which may be sent via email to compliance@coatue.com.
Information We Collect Through Automated Means
We also collect information through automated and technical means as you browse our Site or otherwise engage in the Activities.
Tracking pixels (sometimes referred to as web beacons or clear GIFs) are electronic tags with a unique identifier embedded in websites, online ads and/or email, and that are designed to provide usage information like ad impressions or clicks, measure popularity of the Site and associated advertising, and to access user cookies. We and our service providers may also include Web beacons in email messages, newsletters and other electronic communications to determine whether the message has been opened and for other analytics, personalization and advertising. As we and our service providers adopt additional technologies, we may also gather additional information through other methods. You can change your settings to notify you when a cookie is being set or updated, or to block cookies altogether. For California Consumers
If you are a California resident, California law requires us to provide you with some additional information regarding how we collect, use, and share your “personal information” (as defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”)).
Categories of personal information we collect. Throughout this Notice, we discuss in detail some specific pieces of personal information we collect from and about users. Under the CCPA, we are also required to provide you with the “categories” of personal information we may collect. The categories we may collect are: identifiers (such as name, address, email address); commercial information (such as transaction data); financial data (such as credit card information); internet or other network or device activity (such as browsing history or Site usage); audio or visual information (such as CCTV video or call recordings if you do not opt out); biometric information (such as height or weight to provide appropriate sized apparel); potentially protected classifications (such as gender); and physical characteristics or description (e.g., if you voluntarily submit a photo); professional or employment related data (such as information about your type of work, title, or profession); general geolocation information (e.g., your city and state based on IP address, contact information including your physical address, or precise location, with your consent); and other information that identifies or can be reasonably associated with you.

Categories of personal information we disclose for business purposes

California Consumer Privacy Act Rights. The CCPA provides certain rights to California residents in connection with personal information that is collected and sold, as defined under the statute. For instance, if you are a California resident, you may request that we:
You may have the right to receive information about the financial incentives that we offer (if any). You also have the right to not be discriminated against (as provided for in applicable law) for exercising certain of your rights. These rights are subject to certain exceptions or qualifications, including that Personal Information subject to Gramm-Leach-Bliley is not covered by CCPA.
California Shine the Light Disclosure. The California “Shine the Light” law gives residents of California the right under certain circumstances to request information from us regarding the manner in which we share certain categories of personal information (as defined in the Shine the Light law) with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
Do Not Sell Notice. CCPA sets forth certain obligations for businesses that “sell” personal information. Based on the definition of “sell” under the CCPA and under current regulatory guidance, we do not believe we engage in such activity based on information collected via the Site or the Activities and have not engaged in such activity in the past twelve months.

You will be required to verify your identify before we fulfill your request. To do so, you will need to provide information in connection with your submission to EMW or other materials associated with your participation in EMW. You can also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. To do so, you must provide us with written authorization or a power of attorney, signed by you, for the agent to act on your behalf. You will still need to verify your identity directly with us.
Changes to this Privacy Notice
We may update this Privacy Notice to reflect changes to our information practices. If we make any material changes, we will notify you by email (sent to the email address specified in your account) or by means of a notice on this website prior to the change becoming effective.
